In KEK, the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Japan, the detector technology R&D and its applications to various fields have been one of the significant activities for several years. We promote the researches to this direction in an organized way under the Office of Detector Technology Project (KEK DTP). You can have a broad overview of KEKDTP at http://rd.kek.jp/index_e.html

After 8 years of building up period, we think it is time to have some external review on the office to see how the world experts would evaluate it, what is missing or to be improved and so forth.

For this review we are going to form an international committee consisting of outstanding world specialists for semiconductor sensor, gaseous detector, cryogenic detectors, super conducting devices, electronics, cryogenic technology and so on.

Junji Haba, Head of Detector Technology Project, KEK.
